This AI action game sees the protagonist land on a mysterious planet inhabited by dangerous protozoa, and explore with the help of the mysterious creatures he encounters there, called Pikmin.

The newly discovered “Ice Pikmin” can freeze protozoa and water surfaces, and when given instructions, the Ice Pikmin will move across the frozen ice.

Otchin, the space dog who accompanies the protagonist, can carry heavy objects and cross water by carrying the protagonist and Pikmin on his back.
